Life after transplant surgery can be overwhelming at times, causing emotional distress, which is often dealt with in silence. The emotional isolation can lead to one feeling abnormal in the transplant experience. This webinar will discuss the emotional distress that can accompany organ transplant surgery and offer strategies to improve overall quality of life.
This virtual support group is facilitated by our Caregiver Lifeline Program social workers to explore caregiver burden and provide emotional, psychoeducational and peer support to caregivers of transplant patients.
