In Memory of

George Gibbs

George received a double lung transplant in 2011. He volunteered at the GOL house for 6 years driving the Van and participating in the house at nights. He loved volunteering. Felt like he was giving back. We were grateful for his donor and for the University of Penn docs, nurses, everyone who helped including GOL. Thank you everyone. Be a donor! πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’™

In Memory of

William A. Keely, III

Billy, You were taken too soon and it’s not fair.
I’ll never forget the memories we share. Your caring heart
and loving smile made many lives more worthwhile.
Your generous heart saved the lives of five strangers.
Three are no longer strangers to your family and they are forever
grateful.
They live on because you cared about others.
I miss you everyday and keep you in my heart.
‘Til we meet again, my loving son.

Diane McGrath

So much to admire about this woman, but I always wind up landing on the terrific family she & Ray built. She will be missed, but she left so much of herself in that family that she’ll always be around.

Gift of Life Howie’s House made my transplant journey so much easier. The kindness of the staff, the accommodations, food, access to the hospital at Thomas Jefferson, just made the transplant life’s journey that much easier for us. Thank you dearly from the bottom of our hearts. Ron Walsh and Jean Cadorette.
