Creating a Facebook fundraiser is quick and easy and serves as a great way to support the House and our many residents.

Follow these simple steps to create your fundraiser today!

Creating a Facebook fundraiser:

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2: on the left, click Fundraisers.

         Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, then click See more.

Step 3: On the left, click Raise money.

Step 4: Click Nonprofit.

Step 5: Type Gift of Life Howie’s House into the search bar.

Step 6: Select Gift of Life Howie’s House.

Step 7: On the left, enter:

• The goal amount of money you want to raise.
• The currency you want the funds to be in.
• An end date for your fundraiser
• A title for your fundraiser
• A description that tells your friends why you are raising money for Gift of Life Howie’s House
• A cover photo for your fundraiser

Step 8: Click Create.

You’re Done!  Once you have clicked Create a pop up will appear that asks you to invite your friends to donate to your fundraiser, share your fundraiser in your feed, or donate to the fundraiser yourself.  These are all great ways to get the word out about your fundraiser and raise funds for the House.

Creating an Instagram fundraiser is a simple way to show your support for Gift of Life Howie’s House and help to raise funds to support transplant families.

Follow these steps to get started:

Creating an Instagram Fundraiser:

Step 1: Open Instagram and tap the plus icon

Step 2: Create or choose your image and tap Next.

Step 3: Crop and filter your post, and then tap Next.

Step 4: Tap Add fundraiser.

Step 5: Choose Gift of Life Howie’s House as the nonprofit you want to fundraise for.      You’ll automatically go to the Fundraiser Details page.

Step 6:  Enter the details for your fundraiser and then tap Done.

Step 7: Tap Share.

You’re Done!  Now you can share your post with friends or add it to your story in order to get the word out about your fundraiser.   You can even add a Donate button to your story by clicking the plus button at the top of your profile, selecting story, then clicking the sticker button, and selecting Donation.  You can then type in Gift of Life Howie’s House  as the charity you want to support and post your story.
