Gift of Life Howie's House is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage, and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to offer continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors. The Gift of Life Howie's House maintains the responsibility of this program.

Transplant Social Work CE Program
Alcohol Relapse After Liver Transplantation

This program will cover barriers patients experience when recovering from a dual liver transplant and addiction, Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) and other mental health treatment options to support patient sobriety, and potential process improvement opportunities for your transplant programs. A case will also be reviewed.
This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886593858-4655) for 1 continuing education contact hours.
The following states do not accept National CE Approval Programs and require individual program/provider application processes: New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia.
