Remembering my cousin, Jim, who left us too soon. We always think we have more time. The Gift of Life was near and dear to his heart. His wife, Mary, received the “Gift of Life” about 12 years ago with a heart transplant. Jim was a good man….kind, caring, honest, smart, young at heart and just fun. Even though we’ve lost his presence here on Earth, his family and friends are comforted to know that his “gift of life” as an organ donor will help others, as well as donations in his memory to organizations like Gift of Life Howie’s House to help support the wonderful things that they do for the families of organ recipients.
