Overview:
Transplant centers in the Gift of Life Donor Program region located outside of Philadelphia can apply for up to $25,000 annually to support lodging, meals and transportation expenses incurred by patients and their caregivers who must travel to their centers for transplant related care. Lodging and supportive services are currently provided to patients and their caregivers traveling to Philadelphia for their transplant related care through Gift of Life Howie’s House.
Eligible Transplant Centers:
Christiana Care Health System, Geisinger Medical Center, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Nemours Children’s Hospital, Hershey Medical Center, UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg
